On October 4th, 2018, a joint information session was held in the municipality of Hani i Elezit to inform youth on the opportunity to participate in three upcoming youth workforce development programs. Representatives from the three program implementers, namely Help-Kosovo, Kosovo Manufacturers Club (KMC), and A.U.K. – Training and Development Institute (AUK-TDI), explained training programs in detail and the application procedures. The three programs, Self-Employment (SE) Training Program implemented by Help-Kosovo, On-The-Job Training Program implemented by KMC, and the Regional Employment Development Training Program (RED-T) by AUK-TDI, aim to empower vulnerable youth from the municipalities of Viti, Gjilan, Kacanik, and Hani i Elezit.
The programs will enable youth from these municipalities to increase their professional skills and become more competitive in the job market. The three programs are funded by USAID EMPOWER Private Sector in partnership with Sida – Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency.
